Kirsty is currently studying for a degree in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, so she feels she is definitely still learning a lot. She has received many commissions to date, mostly in semi-realism portraits and character designs.
Kirsty enjoys working with characters as a main focus in her illustrations, taking inspirations from the people in her life, as well as aspects of modern culture and styles that she is influenced by. Her illustrations are often found with bright colour schemes and bold graphic style. She also enjoys using pen and ink, as well as acrylic paints for solid colours and loves learning more about new styles and experimenting within her work.
This will be her first year exhibiting at the Colony of Artists, selling prints, postcards and stickers.
