Abbeyhill Primary School will be offering free walking tours of the Abbeyhill Primary School Playround Art.
We are delighted to launch our latest COA Murally People's mural in the playground of Abbeyhill Primary School. Be the first to see it by joining Iliyana Nedkova, the curator-in-residence at the school for a FREE walking tour on both Saturday and Sunday. The tours are a chance to find out more about the history of all other murals, mosaics and soundart, as well as an opportunity to meet the new animal cutouts and giant pom-pom creatures. Learn more about the school’s involvement with COA for over 15 years, which also gave rise to A is for Abbeyhill - the curated programme of professional artists-in-residence, spreading the wonder of the expressive arts in and outside the classroom to every pupil aged 3 to 12 years.

Places will be limited to a maximum of 15 on each tour
Registration
You can register for a specific tour at the RAFFLE table at the Hive Festival Hub at any point during the day. Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed a space.
Starting Point
The starting point for the tour is the RAFFLE table at the Hive Festival Hub. Please arrive 5 minutes before your registered start time – if you do not arrive five mins before the tour starts your place will be given away.
