Lukasz Sobstyl is Edinburgh Jewellery Repair’s owner, manager and head jeweller. Lukasz developed his passion for jewellery craftsmanship during ten years of professional development at some of Edinburgh’s most renowned jewellers before founding Edinburgh Jewellery Repair in 2018.
Lukasz feels that it’s a rare thing indeed in this day and age to find a traditional jewellery workshop, one using tried and tested skills to make durable, precise, quality jewellery! Most jewellery shops and chains one enters are filled with soulless, mass produced pieces, cast in their thousands with subsequently poor attention to detail, produced to look glitzy in the short term, until it breaks or a stone falls out.
