Burnt Paw
Psychedelic Art & Music
Burnt Paw is an artist and musician whose work is inspired by psychedelic images, mythical landscapes, transcendental bodies and dream-quest exploration.
‘Garden Of Visions’ is a new exhibition summoned by Burnt Paw for Colony of Artists, 2021. Weaving together folklore, fantasy, mythology and mysticism, it opens a portal into other worlds of imagination, Eros and creative transformation, framed by the artist’s rose-bordered garden.
Shape-shifting between roles as musician, artist and poet, the quest for hidden images lies at the heart of Paw’s creative rituals. Visitors to this garden-temple of art will be able to experience monumental sized watercolours, erotically charged charcoal drawings and unique risoprint compositions. The idea of the ‘sacred rose garden’ itself has a deep connection with notions of visionary experience, making this exhibition a perfect setting for the artist’s work to be shared intimately and collectively.
Unique and very limited edition pieces will be available at this exhibition. Paw will also be giving a number of informal talks and spontaneous musical performances across the weekend.
