Imogen Waibel is a fine artist who creates drawings and paintings in a variety of media. She trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee (as Imogen Evans) and has exhibited in various galleries and exhibitions in Scotland. Imogen mainly specialises in oil painting, but also works in acrylics, graphite pencil and colour pencil. What often stands out in her work is her vivid use of colour.  Her work is highly detailed and photorealistic in style and based on botanical and natural form, often playing with perspective. 

Imogen has exhibited widely and her work is available to buy. Imogen also takes commissions, please either ask or contact her though her website or on Instagram.

Artist Biography

Imogen studied Fine Art Drawing & Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee and graduated with a BA Hons 2:1 in 1998. In 2000 she also obtained an MPhil in Decorative Arts from the University of Glasgow. In 2004 Imogen also completed a PGCE in Secondary Art and Design at Moray House and she works as an art teacher in East Lothian as well as continuing to work as a fine artist.
