Alice Ross (איידל ראָס) is a linguist, reader, cat enthusiast, occasional painter and printmaker and life model, living in Leith and currently studying for a PhD in speech technology. Some of the things that inspire her are urban wildflowers, anarchist mutual aid projects, quotidian beauty, moments of connection, and the sea. She is motivated by curiosity and unafraid of sincerity, and she’s always happy to explain why you should make time to look at the moon.
Alice’s art work has been published in the Radical Jewish Calendar (5783/2002), and she has sold prints to contribute to fundraising for Palestinian families; books for imprisoned people; and workplace strike funds.
