Oldmangrey is the weird and wonderful alter ego of Edinburgh born and based illustrator and designer Graeme Andrew Clark.
Illustrator of wee pets, white lies, and anything in between, Graeme creates personalised commissions alongside his pet-inspired product range and children’s book illustrations.
Artist Biography
Graeme is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and works in the advertising/marketing industry as an Art Director.
As a freelance illustrator and designer in his own time, Graeme is known as Oldmangrey. Sketching his own dog Pip initially, led to other pet owners requesting commissions of their furry family, with the business growing from there. His pet product range now features several of his pet portrait muses!
Through attending craft markets and building his social media following, Graeme has in more recent years illustrated a series of children’s books, and worked with clients including Lidl, People’s Ford, and Scottish Squash.
Following recovery from Leukaemia in 2018, Graeme created a fundraising commission for Blood Cancer UK and later partnered with the charity to develop a product range for their online shop.
In 2019 Graeme produced his first exhibition ‘Let Sleeping Dogs Lie’, hosted by local café Art & Vintage.
Graeme lives in the Abbeyhill Colonies with his wife Nicola and their boss, Pip the Dog!
