Quirky Clocks & Amazing Automata
Ian presents a hands-on exhibition, featuring his unique clocks, and automata. The products are crafted mostly from native hardwoods, and display the beauty of these natural materials.
The clocks are highly varied, some taking inspiration from Art Nouveau and the Arts and Crafts movement, some emphasising the mechanical nature of timekeeping with moving gears and clunky mechanisms.
The Automata, informative and amusing, depict the secret activities of the humble hedgehog. Art, music, sport… Who knew?
