VENUE 4 - Shelagh Boyle, 30 Maryfield
Vitreous Enamel on Copper
Shelagh Boyle uses vitreous enamel powders on copper sheet to create her small works of art. Each piece consists of many layers of enamel, either sifted or hand painted, and fired in a kiln after each one.
Her inspiration comes from the Scottish landscape through the seasons with a particular love of trees and ploughed fields.
Shelagh has exhibited in the Velvet Easel gallery in Portobello and has been chosen for the RSA annual exhibition 2104-16, 2019-20 and 2022.
