Minuet Workshop is a bookish, textual, creative playground by Stephanie Jin. Alongside her graphic work, she designs and crafts handcrafted journals, planners, and small literary print objects. All her journals are unique and handmade, using bookbinding techniques and materials in a contemporary and experimental way. Each year she also designs a new planner for the year ahead (which she has been releasing at the Colony of Artists), full of poems, artwork, seasonal touches and lots of other little details. A lover of words, letters, and paper, her work explores the weird and spectacular world of books, language, and literature in a playful, poetic, and joyful way.
Stephanie is a graphic designer and bookmaker, working on books, publications, and other printed material. On an endless journey to fill her space with paper objects, she has been crafting journals, books, and planners for the past three years. She studied English language and literature at the University of Edinburgh before going on to do a masters in graphic communication design at Central Saint Martins, which is where her love of words and books fully collided. She founded her studio Minuet Workshop as a space to further explore the form and joy of the book.
