Printmaker & Illustrator
Lorna Johnson creates hand printed Lino prints and illustrations which explore folk lore, mythology, plant lore and storytelling that are inspired by the changing seasons. Sustainability plays a fundamental part to her process and she uses handmade Nepalese Lokta papers and recycled papers. Alongside this she offers some of her hand carved designs on a selection of organic cotton clothing and textiles textiles.
Lorna has been working with different Printmaking techniques on and off for the past 15 years and has a BA(HONS) Degree in Printmaking and New Media. Over the years she has enjoyed delivering printmaking workshops in Edinburgh collaboratively with Look and Draw which is currently ongoing.
