Art For Everyone

Éoin Ó Murchú is a self-taught Irish artist who now calls Scotland his home.

When he was a boy, Éoin signed his paintings with stick figures he called “pixie people”. He has since used this unique signature logo incorporated into each of his paintings. Using a broad range of styles and techniques, Éoin creates vibrant and evocative oil & acrylic paintings. His art primarily captures iconic and idyllic people and places from his adventures around the world. With a large selection of original paintings and mounted prints, pixieARTist truly has something for everyone.

Éoin became a full time artist over the last year thanks to the kindness of everyone and anyone who has stopped by his market stalls and purchased his artwork. He has attended mostly markets based in Edinburgh such as the Castle Street market, Leith Dock and this will be his 4th annual Colony of Artists festival. On the Saturday during the 1st day of the Colony of Artists festival in 2023 his wife Kate went into labour and their daughter Freya was born which makes this festival very special for them!
