Acrylic Paint on Canvas
Throughout lockdown I have been working on drawings, paintings, ceramics and prints of marine life.
I began drawing whales at the start of lockdown. I began to paint them, documenting marine mammals that had been spotted around UK shores. As I have become more confident working in this area I have begun to look more closely at smaller scale marine life - nautilus, jellyfish, argonauts, krill and plankton.
I have enjoyed expanding my areas of skill and expertise through this vein.
I swim in the sea regularly all year and make images of creatures I would like to see or have seen.
