Beach Combed Art
Flotsam and Jetsam comprises of two sisters, Melanie Bruhn and Teresa Sherratt Fynn. They specialise in creating unique framed art work and greetings cards made from beach combed sea glass, pottery and shells from the East Neuk of Fife. As the beach combed items are all different, no two pieces are the same and focus on seaside and wildlife themes. They also create simple but effective framed knitted artwork, using yarn scraps to create seascape and landscape images.
Flotsam and Jetsam Crafts Anstruther has exhibited as part of the East Neuk Open Studios, taking part in summer and Christmas exhibitions at Bowhouse in Fife. We have also exhibited at Colony of Artists in 2022 and 2023.
