Edd Davies is an Edinburgh based digital artist and painter, who creates landscapes and movie posters featuring the sights and landmarks of Scotland in full colour!
He created the “Eddscape Creates” brand to produce high quality art prints alongside a range of cards and homewares.
His Poster Art and Landscapes largely but not exclusively feature the urban environment. With his love of sharp lines, bright colours, rough textures, patterns and a little humour. Urban, industrial, residential and rural scenes come to life in his unique style..
The "MadeUpMovies" poster series combines this landscape art with typography and graphic design. Inspired by film, music and books these designs are filled with local trivia, history, pop culture references and humour.
He has exhibited extensively in Edinburgh and been featured in the Edinburgh Evening News and STV Online. He has been a regular at the Colony Of Artists, Annual Exhibition for many years.
He has created artwork, logos, illustrations, murals & brochures for many individuals and businesses. Previous Commissions include - Colony Of Artists, The Seabird Centre, The Hanging Bat, RSPB ,Royal High Primary School, S.Lucas Ice Cream and most recently for the RNA Society.
