Bill Mazur has lived in the Abbeyhill Colonies since 1996 and is a founding member of the Colony of Artists and has been organising the event since 2008.
Painting primarily in watercolour and acrylic, nature is at the heart of Bill's work. The changing moods, light, and seasons, and how it effects the landscape of the Scottish and French countryside, are a continual inspiration.
Bill is often seen out and about in Abbeyhill, donned in his painters overalls up a ladder in front of our local shops and gable ends, being the lead on our mural projects with the Colony of Artist's Murally People.
